The Rescue Diver course
teaches you to focus on other divers as well as on yourself. It shows
you how to prevent accidents and how to handle them if they occur.
Prerequisites:
- 15 years of age
- A certified PADI
Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent- provide proof of certification
beyond an entry level)
- Completed PADI
EFR ( or equivalent CPR) within the past two years.
Completion
of this course is a pre-requisite for the PADI Divemaster course.

The PADI Divemaster
Course brings skills, theory, organisation and supervisory skills to
a professional level. You must be a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
before commencing the course. You should have at least 20 dives prior
starting this course. By the end you will have a minimum of 60 dives.
The course is made up of three parts:
- Watermanship and
Skills Assessment
- Knowledge Development
- Practical Application
By the end of the
course you will have mastered the skills required to take people diving.
You will be able to create underwater maps, assist instructors in Open
Water and Advanced Open Water courses, and have a thorough knowledge
of rescue procedures.

Important Note:
Come prepared. There are 5 theory exams; physics, physiology, skills
